Much nicer day

The wind died down today and we had a very pleasant, but cool day. We sat outside until sunset, then it got too cold real fast.

The big thrill of the day was seeing a coyote walk by camp working his way down the wash.

Today was another shower day. We are still refining the process of taking showers in the van. Today was the best yet. We trimmed the plastic tablecloth we are using as a shower pan to fit better and make it much easier to set up. We opted not use our little rechargeable electric pump and just screwed spray lids onto standard water bottles after heating the water in the microwave. We used a total of five cups of water to take two showers as opposed to the two gallons we used last time with the pump. The water left in the pan is very shallow and we just gather up the edges of the cloth then pick it up and carefully dump it in the sink.
