We saw David, Linda and their three dogs off at zero dark thirty this morning. We hit the road at 8 am on the nose.
We took a side trip eight miles up a dirt road into the Kofa NWR to Palm Canyon pictured above.
When we got to Yuma it was time to hit the grocery store, laundry mat and fuel station to claim our Von points for 60 cents off per gallon before the points expired tonight.
Then we decided to do a date-night of dinner at Applebees (vegan options suck) and a movie, “Hidden Figures”, which we both loved (5 stars).
We are now tucked into bed, parked in a Wallmart parking lot, for our first Wallmart overnight, surrounded by about a dozen other RVs.
Tomorrow we’re Eastward bound.
