We decided to take a day off from driving and stay in our beautiful little campsite with four bars of LTE cell service. We did go putt through the cute little town of Dawson City with its old facades and wooden boardwalks. We had breakfast at the Jack London Bar & Grill, where we enjoyed a little people watching. The apex of critter watching. We watched the old Henry Fonda movie “12 Angry Men” on DVD on our laptop computer. Laura watched a few of her TV shows and DR did DR stuff, whatever that is.
We may stay another day, or hop on the ferry to cross the Yukon River to continue our adventure. We’ll decide in the morning. If we decide to leave, we should head out early as word has it that the line to the ferry backs up early. The ferry only appears to hold about eight to ten cars in two lanes, and much fewer when semis and/or motorhomes are involved.
Here are some mostly unoriginal photos.
What a wonderful adventure you guys are having.
Thanks so much for sharing!
