Under Construction
Version 1.0
When we first took delivery of the van Laura’s brother was in the process of moving from California to Colorado. We volunteered to haul a van load to Colorado. We already had the refrigerator/freezer, memory foam mattress, UDDT toilet, and butane burner. We stayed in motels on the way to Colorado. After we arrived and unloaded, we went to the local Home Depot and purchased a 3/4″ sheet of plywood and several 2x2s. We purchased a set of Sterilite modular drawers and bins. We cut the plywood to fit creating a bed platform across the back of the van and cut the 2x2s to the same height as our arrangement of modular drawers under the front edge of the bed to create legs for the bed platform. We drilled holes in the plywood near the hand hold bars along the back doors and tied the plywood to the handles. The Sterilite bins were stored under the bed in the rear.
We strapped the fridge down with cargo straps to the cargo tie-down points.
We used a small folding table for a galley.
