Rock Springs, WY to Logan Canyon, UT

We bade a thankful farewell to Ron and Cheryl around 8am and headed for our favorite Wood Camp campground right on the Logan River in Utah. We were hoping that one of the six spaces would be available this close to the 4th of July weekend.

As it turned out five of the six spaces were available. The sixth had obviously been reserved for the July 4 weekend as someone had left a cooler and roped off the entrance. We never saw anyone in that space. After eye-balling the spaces which were left, we chose Space #6, which was marginally better than the others. All of the others were also right on the river. Here is space #6 as we found it.

One of the great things about Vango is that it only takes minutes to set up camp. All we usually do is put out the step stool and on a rare occasion pull up on leveling blocks.
